What we do

Most furniture dealers sell furniture. Our work starts earlier and ends later: measuring the space and drawing the plan in AutoCAD, quoting new, pre-owned and refurbished options side by side, fabricating custom pieces where the catalog falls short, installing with our own crews, and coming back: for the reconfiguration when a team grows, the parts call when a panel gets damaged, and the decommission when the lease ends.

That range is deliberate. Offices change constantly, and companies would rather make one call than manage five vendors. Being the one call is the business we've built.

Our principals and managers have spent more than 20 years in commercial office furniture. That experience shows up in unglamorous ways that save projects: furniture plans that account for the building's freight elevator, install schedules built backward from your go-live date, refurbished systems specified honestly, and quotes that don't grow after signature.

It also scales. New Space has managed furniture programs far beyond Houston, including roughly 135 office locations across the country for a major insurance company over a 14-year relationship, covering design, space planning, custom build, cubicles, private offices, conference and training rooms, telemarketing floors, moves, decommissioning and storage. Multi-site companies get the same single point of contact for a project in Houston or five projects in five states.

How we work with project teams

On larger projects we're one trade among several, and we act like it: coordinating drawings with architects, schedules with general contractors, whip locations with electricians, and disconnect/reconnect timing with cabling and IT vendors.
